Thanks to Miss Gill, Star class had a fun morning playing maths games in the outdoor classroom this week. We all had a chance to play different games and we learned about capacity too. Luckily the rain stayed away and we had great fun playing Uno with lots of new rules attached like star jumps and touching our toes.
For capacity we estimated how much a container could hold and then used measuring jugs to find out the actual amount of liquid. It was tough staying dry doing this one!!
Giant outdoor connect 4 and noughts and crosses was brilliant too.Hopefully we will get to play these again when the weather gets better.
