Our class were lucky to go on two nature walks with Patrick Hunt this month. The first day we went on a walk around Corduff Park looking at the different kinds of trees, plants and flowers that grow there. We also spotted Ireland's smallest bird, the Goldcrest! On our second walk we went to the Tolka Valley and explored the plants and flowers that grow along the River Tolka. We listened to the call of the Bullfinch and practiced the Bumblebee dance! The children were full of questions for Patrick and everyone thoroughly enjoyed getting back to nature.
