6th Class Experience Inspiring Workshops on Breathwork, Self-Regulation, and Mental Health
Our 6th class students have been incredibly fortunate to take part in a series of enriching workshops focusing on breathwork, self-regulation, and mental health. Thanks to Bernardo’s and Caroline from EISHT, our students have gained valuable skills that will benefit them now and in the future.
During the workshops with Bernardo’s, the children explored the power of breathwork and self-regulation techniques. Through music and dance, they discovered creative ways to express themselves while also learning how to manage emotions and stress. These techniques will serve as essential tools in their everyday lives, helping them to stay calm, focused, and in control of their emotions.
In the EISHT workshops with Caroline, the focus was on mental health, self-confidence, and emotional awareness. The children learned that feelings such as anxiety are a normal part of life and that acknowledging and managing emotions is key to maintaining well-being. As part of the workshop, they created LEGO superheroes, which represented their inner strengths and unique qualities. This fun and imaginative activity helped to build self-esteem, encouraging the students to see themselves in a positive and empowering light.
These workshops have provided our students with a strong foundation in emotional resilience and self-awareness. By understanding the importance of mental health and learning practical strategies for self-regulation, they are now better equipped to face challenges with confidence. We are incredibly grateful to Bernardo’s and EISHT for their support in helping our students develop these invaluable life skills.
