Gaelic Football

St. Patrick’s has a proud tradition of Gaelic Football. We have twice reached the finals in Croke Park and even won the 2013 Senior boys Cumann na mBunscoil “Sciath an Chéid”. A very proud moment in our history. Gaelic Football takes place from September until November. Mr. D.O’Flynn and Mr. Walsh train the boys’ Junior team (4th & 5th class) and Mr. O’Hara and Mr. C.O’Flynn train the boys’ Senior team (5th class & 6th class). The girls' Gaelic Football team are trained by Ms. Kelly and Ms. Quinn. The Girls' Gaelic team is going from strength to strength and reached the Gaelic Football finals in Croke Park in 2019.
