Student of the week

Each week each class teacher nominates a 'student of the week'. The name of the student and the reason they are nominated gets called out over the intercom during our weekly assembly on a Friday

1st Week

Mr O'Hara
Zara Maher.........positivity and enthusiasm to drive back into school life every day this week.


Mr Brady
Sean Udemba - showing a fantastic work ethic all week and always coming in with a smile on his face.


Mr Cunningham
Saoirse Clarke.....Great effort made all week and always has a smile on her face.


Mr C O'Flynn
Shane Ryan...great enthusiasm being back in school and sharing his positivity with others.


Mr D O'Flynn
Jamie McCarthy for being such a dedicated pupil, kind and caring to others and always striving to improve in each lesson.


Ms C Farrell
Joanne O' Gorman for working so hard this week, especially during Gaeilge. She completes all her work with amazing enthusiasm and positivity and is a pleasure to have in our class!


Ms Toher
Kyle Brannock for being a kind and caring classmate this week and also for all his hard work in Geography.


Ms Gill
Kathlyn Hefferon is so kind and caring towards all her classmates. She comes in everyday with a smile on her face and gives 110% in all of her work.

Ruby Brown for having a great attitude and trying her best at everything.

Carlly from my class for her positive attitude throughout the whole day and for working hard and asking questions when she needs to.

Erin Edmonds from my class for her positive attitude and being so kind towards her classmates especially the new students in the class.

My student of the week is Maja. She’s started the year off at a very high standard and produced very impressive work. Keep it up!

2nd Week

Kyle Murphy for being kind and friendly towards his classmates and for always trying his best

Hailey Clarke for her exemplary work ethic and persistence with her Maths this week along with her constant smile and bubbly manner.


Ms Farrell
Logun Hennessy for trying extremely hard in all his work this week! Logun’s positivity and willingness to participate this week set an excellent example for all his classmates!

Ashley Meaghar for being so kind and thoughtful to all her classmates every day.

Jayden Brady for his excellent manners, for always offering to help his classmates and for giving 100% in every task

My student of the week is Cara Grogan. The standard of her work is very impressive and she is always looking to improve. Well done.

3rd Week

Sara for student of the week for always completing her work with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Sara has an amazing work ethic and such a kind personality - it is an absolute pleasure to have her in our class! :-)


Ms Daly
Oliwia for student of the week: She has shown a great attitude towards her work since returning in September. Her work is always completed to the best of her ability in class and she has carried that through to her homework giving me some fabulous sentences. Keep up the great work Oliwia :)

Student of the Week: Pixie, for being so determined to listen really hard in every single lesson all week.

Alan for making a great effort with his work since he has been back and writing an excellent story in our narrative writing.

Alicia Gondokondo- for her enthusiasm and hard work since the start of the year. Alicia has made us all smile with her funny stories and great sense of humour.

Kayla Nesbitt for being so kind and pleasant to all and for always giving one hundred percent to everything that she does.

Shirine, worked so hard to improve her work in all subjects every day this week. Brilliant attitude to learning.

My student of the week is Mia Butler for outstanding effort in every subject this week. She is the first to get started on her work and to tidy up when she's asked.


Ms Gill
Ethan completes all of his work to a high standard, gives every task his best effort and is always kind, helpful and understanding towards others.

Skye Summer-Nugent for an outstanding effort in every subject this week, working really hard to improve her focus and listening throughout the day.


Ms Farrell
William Doyle for always coming into school with a beaming smile on his face - his enthusiasm, kindness and positivity lights up our classroom! Well Done William! :-)
