Ms. C. Kelly - 8th June Weekly Assignments

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well. It was fantastic to see some of your lovely creations for the Hope Bake-Off. Well done to everyone who entered the competition. It's okay if you didn't get a chance to participate, I know home can be a very busy place and you might not have had time to bake.

Well done to those of you who have finished your Reading Zone and Spellbound. You've put a lot of hard work into getting this far. We will still need our Reading Zone book for practising our reading fluency if you don't have other reading books at home at the minute. You may also take this week to catch up with any exercises in Spellbound you may have missed since school closed. Busy at Maths has changed from approximately 1 page a day to half of a page a day too so there's less written work for you between the Maths and English now. Mental Maths is as normal. We have about 5 weeks left in that book so we may look at doubling up weeks from next week on to fully complete the book by the end of June.

Your parents/guardians will be returning your textbooks soon so make sure you're taking good care of them and they're kept in a safe place. Here are the 5 books you should have at home. You won't need to return Spellbound or Mental Maths when the time comes to return your books however.

Keep up all the great work and remember to be nice and helpful at home for your parents/guardians. Be kind and always say thanks for all the lovely things they do for you; it's so important!

Warmest regards from Donegal,

Ms. C. Kelly.
