Ms. C. Kelly - 22nd June Weekly Home Assignments

Hello there,

I hope you're all well. Thank you to everyone who returned their school books so far. It's so important to drop them back so if you haven't already, please drop them into school as soon as you can. Well done to Jacek in our class on becoming one of the winners in last week's Art competition. We know what a talented artist Jacek already is but his 'Paperburg City' creation was just outstanding! Well done to all the other entries from our class and school too. Some very creative pieces of art and as ever, it was a difficult decision for Ms. O'Riordan to choose.

This week is Sports Week. Try and get at least an hour of exercise or activity in every day to stay nice and fit and healthy. As you can see from the Art competition, you don't anything fancy to make something incredible.Use what you have around you to make your own little stations or obstacle courses like using a laundry basket as a target for the bean bags you got from the activity packs. My nieces love keeping active and having a good laugh at me struggling through their 'obstacle courses'. Just take good care and do so in a nice safe way. We were supposed to double up on our Mental Maths but saying as sport and exercise are so important, we're going to leave the Mental Maths off and focus on our fitness and overall wellbeing instead. Here's a link to our school Padlet. There are some great links and videos there, including Mr. O'Hara and Mr. C. O'Flynn's videos:

Keep up the great work and make sure you're being very good for your parents at home,

Warmest regards from the hills of Donegal,

Ms. C. Kelly.
