Ms. Farrell - Work for 2nd - 5th June

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you got to enjoy the amazing weather this weekend! On our farm we did the silage as the weather was so good. This means that the grass in our fields are cut to create a pit of "silage" which is used for the cows feed throughout the rest of the year! The quality of the silage you collect can be effected by how dry the grass is so this good weather is perfect timing for it - let's just say Daddy Farrell is delighted! :-)

I would love to hear what you got up to this weekend - please continue to email me your news! Every time I get one of your emails I automatically have a happier day so please continue to let me know what you are up to!!

Below is the work for this week. You have all been doing amazing work up to now and I know it is difficult to concentrate with the sunny weather but just try your best and get whatever you can done! As always, I am more than happy to help with anything that you're stuck on so please email me or contact me on See Saw!

Happiness Challenge

“My Happy Place”

Sometimes, we all might feel sad worried, angry or lonely. There are many ways you can manage these difficult emotions. The activity encourages you to think about people, places and objects that make you happy. Think about all the things that make you happy and why they make you happy. For example, my best friend makes me happy because they make me laugh and help me to forget about feeling sad. In this activity you should read the questions and write or draw a suitable answer. When you have finished all the questions, cut out the smiles and attach them together. You can then keep your ‘happy book’ with you all the time and look through it if you are feeling sad, worried, angry, lonely or upset. This book will hopefully help you to feel happier when you are feeling difficult emotions.

These are some suggested activities to enhance the fun in our lives this week! Make sure and send on pictures of you completing some of the exercises!

Best of luck - I can't wait to see how ye get on!

I hope you all continue to stay happy, healthy and safe,

Ms. Farrell.
