Sport's Week and Happy Holidays

Good Morning All!

This week there will be no written work. Your class teachers have posted a link to a padlet for ideas for sport's week. Have fun and try to do about an hour of exercise everyday not just for sport's week but for the summer too.

If we have a tip for over the summer holidays, it's to practise your tables and to read as much as possible, daily if you can manage it and out loud when possible. This can be reading to a younger sibling, reading for yourself or an adult reading to you. Blanchardstown library is open but not for browsing. You can email or phone in an order of books and collect them in the porch at the assigned time. Details here:

There are also some free online reading websites such as and

Finally, we would like to reassure both children and parents not to be worrying about catching up. Keeping the reading up is the best thing you can do and your teachers will be prepared for September and all the face to face teaching, learning and topics you may not have covered sufficiently. So please don't worry. It's a pointless waste of energy that will get you no where. All of your classmates are in the same boat so you are not at a disadvantage.

Have a great summer break. Stay active, stay reading, stay safe and have fun.

We cannot wait to see you all in August. Things may run and look slightly different but we will all adjust just as we had to in March.

Take care,

Ms. Kenny and Ms. Mulderrig

This week in SESE we learned about researching family history. We showed our own family history by creating Family Trees.
Although different, it is great to be back in school. Everyone is working brilliantly and safely.
